GOOGLE API DISCLOSURE

Google API Use & Data Handling

This concise English page supports Google OAuth review. NasFinder.com remains a Korean-first website; the full privacy notice is available in Korean.

Product purpose

NasFinder is a native file browser for iPhone and iPad. It helps users browse their own storage services, preview media, and move or share files they choose.

Google Drive

NasFinder includes a Google Drive connection for user-requested file browsing and file operations. Google Drive uses its own OAuth connection and credentials, separate from Google Photos.

Google Photos Picker

The source-implemented Google Photos integration on iPhone, iPad, and Android uses a dedicated Google Photos OAuth connection and requests only the sensitive scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/photospicker.mediaitems.readonly. Live Google account verification is pending, and this page does not claim that the integration is included in the current public release. The user opens Google Photos Picker and explicitly selects photos or videos; NasFinder downloads only those selected items into PhoneHard / Received Files on that device. Downloaded items can be previewed, shared, or deleted, and are transferred to a NAS or connected storage destination only when the user explicitly chooses one. NasFinder does not browse or recreate the user's complete Google Photos library and does not use this data for advertising, tracking, face recognition, data sales, or AI training.

Data sharing and disclosure

Google Photos user data is shared, transferred, or disclosed only to: (1) Google, when NasFinder calls Google APIs to complete the user's request, and (2) the destination the user explicitly chooses — a share action target or a NAS or connected storage destination the user selects for transfer. Google Photos user data is not sold and is not disclosed to any unrelated third party. Selected media is downloaded from Google directly to the user's device; the operator does not receive or retain selected Google Photos media on any operator-controlled server.

Security and data protection

All Google API traffic is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Google Photos OAuth credentials are kept separately from Google Drive credentials: Apple devices use Keychain with device-only access, while Android uses app-private encrypted storage protected by Android Keystore. Selected media and related local cache are stored in the app's private storage on the user's device and protected by that platform's device and app access controls.

Limited Use

NasFinder's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Control and deletion

Users can disconnect Google Photos in NasFinder Settings, separately from Google Drive, and revoke NasFinder's access from their Google Account. Locally downloaded files and caches can be deleted in the app; exported files must be deleted from their destination separately.
